Live the area, with its traditions, its history, its inhabitants. We would like to introduce to our land, with all of its most beautiful facets, and so we have decided to combine the cycling experience with a food and wine-related one. Tastings of wines and local products, meetings with local producers, visits to cellars and food businesses. All on two wheels, obviously, thanks to tours thought up for all types of bicycles – although hybrid or mountain bikes are best – to deal with off-road routes, country paths and slight climbs more easily.

CYCLING IN RELAXATION AND FREEDOM

For anyone who sees going out on a bicycle as a time to relax, an opportunity to let your thoughts wander and simply enjoy the road and the surrounding landscape, possibly making the most of a gastronomic or cultural break, while cycling peacefully for 40/60 km over gentle and relaxing routes, among beauty and rolling hills.

WINE TASTING IN THE HISTORIC VILLAGE INSIDE THE WALLS OF SOAVE CASTLE

Borgo Rocca Sveva, the village built at the foot of Soave Castle, is the heart of the Cantina di Soave and the symbol of both its strong ties to the local area and what the winery has become over the years.

The old Borgo is a real must for wine lovers and tourists in general, with the Cantina di Soave wineshop, a restaurant, a botanic garden containing more than 150 species of arboreal plants, an experimental vineyard and the recently restored Villa Giavarina.

VISITS TO THE WINERY AND TASTINGS EMOTION MEETS TRADITION

Ca' Rugate takes its name from the volcanic-origin hill of the same name which rises in the Soave Classico growing area east of the city of Verona. Most of the vineyards belonging to the Tessari family, who have been running the winery for four generations, are located in this same area.

We produce wines with the official appellations Soave Classico, Valpolicella, Ripasso, Valpolicella Superiore and Amarone della Valpolicella, as well as the dessert wines Recioto di Soave and Recioto della Valpolicella.
